Intro

BY PURCHASING A PRODUCT YOU ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Purchases may only be made by persons aged 18 or over and are governed by Italian Legislative Decree no. 185 of 22 May 1999 (as amended), on consumer protection in distance contracts.

The supplier and manufacturer is La Fondazione sas.

All prices shown include VAT.

After you complete a purchase you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please contact the shop as soon as possible.

You must always check that the parcel is intact on delivery and that it matches your invoice. If the outer packaging is damaged you may sign for delivery “subject to inspection”. If the product is visibly damaged, refuse delivery. Report any discrepancy to the courier immediately.

All our products are made when you order, so production and shipping times vary by category:

  • Jewellery: 10–15 days
  • Chandeliers: 30 days
  • Sculptures: 15 days
  • In-stock items: 3 days

Personal data collected when you complete the order form or send it to us in another way are protected under Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code) and will be entered in our customer register when you purchase.

Shipping

We usually ship within Italy with Poste Italiane, and abroad with express couriers and FedEx, depending on the delivery address and current carrier offers.

Shipping charges include packaging and postage. Packaging costs are fixed; transport costs depend on the total weight of the shipment.

We recommend combining items in a single order. We cannot merge two separate orders; each order is charged shipping separately.

All parcels are insured for the full value of the goods.

Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from our shop.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, you may return your unused item within 14 days of the delivery date and receive a refund. The refund does not include shipping costs or any customs charges.

Before returning an item, make sure all of the following conditions are met:

  • You may return a product to us only after requesting a return by email within 3 working days: info@fondazione.com
  • The product must be sent back within 5 days of the date we accept your return request.
  • The product must be unused, new and undamaged.
  • The product must be returned complete with all parts and accessories.
  • The product must be sent in its original packaging, packed as received.
  • The shipment must be insured and tracked.
  • You must notify us on the day you send the parcel, with the tracking number.

All returned goods will be visually inspected on receipt for signs of wear before any refund, exchange or credit is issued.

If all the conditions above are met, we will refund the product price. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.

Note: Refunds do not apply to businesses and resellers, or to made-to-order and personalised products.

Customs duties and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any applicable customs duties. La Fondazione snc is not responsible for delays caused by customs checks.

 

Disputes

Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Treviso, Italy.
